Reinstallation and uninstallation of packages in OTOBO

Reinstallation of packages
Section titled “Reinstallation of packages”In certain cases, for example, if local changes have been made to package files, it may happen that the Package Manager marks a package as defective. In such cases, a reinstallation of the package is necessary to restore proper functionality.
To reinstall a package, follow these steps:
- Select the corresponding package from the Local Repository widget that has been marked for reinstallation.
- Click on the Reinstall link in the action column.
- Follow the given installation instructions to successfully reinstall the package.
Uninstallation of OTOBO packages
Section titled “Uninstallation of OTOBO packages”It may become necessary to remove a package from your OTOBO system. This can be useful for various reasons, such as to improve system performance or to remove unused functions.
To uninstall a package, proceed as follows:
- Select the package to be uninstalled from the Local Repository widget.
- Click the Uninstall link in the Action area.
- Follow the instructions for uninstallation to completely remove the package from your system.
