The OTOBO AI Assistant (Custom GPT) is a specialized model trained directly on your OTOBO or Znuny documentation and best practices. It provides immediate, context- and version-dependent answers as well as automated configuration suggestions for your ticketing system.

How it works

The Assistant profile uses the OpenAI o4-mini model, pre-fine-tuned on all official OTOBO and Znuny manuals (from OTOBO 11.0 and Znuny 6.x onwards). - Source
It accesses the PDFs and web docs from otobo.org and znuny.org live to provide up-to-date information at all times. - Context Recognition
Every question is analyzed to identify the OTOBO version, modules used (ITSM, FAQ, TimeAccounting, etc.), and your specific use case.
How to use your Custom GPT
Section titled “How to use your Custom GPT”- Selection
– Open ChatGPT, click on the model menu in the top left, and select “OTOBO Assistant”. - Ask a question
– Enter your request in natural language, e.g., “How do I set up an SLA for high-priority tickets in OTOBO 11.1?” - Answer & Actions
– The bot provides:- Step-by-step instructions (SysConfig keys, ACL adjustments)
- Documentation snippets (VitePress frontmatter including version notes)
- Automation suggestions (iCal VEVENT cronjobs, PostMaster filters)
